During the UNDAF cycle, 9 UN agencies collectively delivered around USD 30.5 million for 29 programme interventions nationwide carried out in cooperation with the implementing partners for outcome area 3 of fostering voice and strengthening accountability.

The UN contributed to the legal framework to protect and uphold human rights, including the right to freedom from violence (gender-based violence [GBV]/domestic violence [DV]) and violence against children, and to implement and monitor these laws.
