UNCT Key Priorities in 2023
The year 2023 is the first year of the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF 2023-2027). The new cooperation framework has 3 strategic areas with 4 outcomes. The priorities were identified by UNCT under each outcomes of UNSDCF.

  • Inclusive education
  • Equal access to social protection services for vulnerable groups
  • Water, sanitation hygiene (WASH)
  • Prevention of malnutrition among children and adolescence
  • Improved access to quality GBV prevention and response services

Key priorities in Outcome 2 and 3

  • Resilient and sustainable employment
  • Economic transformation/diversification through digitalization and connectivity infrastructure, clean energy and climate
  • Sustainable financing
  • Climate adaptation and Disaster risk reduction
